Centre for Information Policy Leadership (CIPL) – Member since 2011
TrustArc has been a corporate member of the CIPL for over six years and TrustArc’s General Counsel, Hilary Wandall, is a member of the CIPL Steering Committee. TrustArc also participates in a CIPL industry working group providing CIPL members with industry input as to the implementation of the EU GDPR and other global privacy and data security initiatives.
CIPL is a global privacy and security think tank based in Washington, DC, Brussels and London. EU Cloud Code of Conduct – Member of General Assembly since 2017
TrustArc was one of the first companies to become a member of the General Assembly of the EU Cloud Code of Conduct. The EU Cloud Code of Conduct was founded in February 2017, after four years of close collaboration between the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology of the European Commission and the cloud computing community. The EU Cloud CoC is intended to increase transparency in the European cloud marketplace and members of the General Assembly have certified that their services adhere to the rigorous European data protection requirements. Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) – Member since 2011
TrustArc has been a Corporate Supporter member of FPF for over six years and is partnering with FPF to two projects relating to “smart cities” privacy issues (click here) and to children’s privacy issues (click here). TrustArc’s General Counsel, Hilary Wandall, is a member of the FPF Advisory Board. Josh Harris, TrustArc’s Director of International Regulatory Affairs, is a former Policy Director of FPF.

European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) – Partner since 2013

TrustArc has been an approved Icon and Certification Provider for EDAA since 2013. TrustArc also has partnered with the EDAA for the past three years to produce research reports that review the impact of the EDAA OBA program across 15 EU countries.
The EDAA is a non-profit organization based in Brussels and is responsible for enacting key aspects of the self-regulatory initiative for Online Behavioural Advertising (OBA) across Europe. EDAA principally acts as the central licensing body for the OBA Icon and provides technical means for consumers to exercise transparency and control over OBA. The Information Accountability Foundation (IAF) – Member since 2014
TrustArc has been a Foundation Partner of the IAF since 2014 and developed the TrustArc DPIA template in coordination with the IAF. TrustArc’s General Counsel, Hilary Wandall, is on the Executive Committee of the IAF Board of Trustees.
